Vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, soya-free

makes 12 squares

  • 250g shortbread biscuits
  • 135g dairy-free butter – I used Vitalite Dairy-free
  • 200g dairy-free chocolate – I used Moo-free
  • 1-2 tbsp golden syrup
  • 100g vegan marshmallows – I used Freedom mallows
  • 100g banana chips

You can add any other treats you want – raisins, glacier cherries or nuts for example

  1. Break the chocolate into pieces and add to the dairy-free butter and golden syrup in a saucepan
  2. Heat gently until the chocolate is fully melted and then remove from the heat to cool
  3. Break the shortbread biscuits into small pieces and stir into the melted chocolate
  4. Use a rolling-pin to break the banana chips into small pieces and stir in
  5. Chop the marshmallows into small pieces before stirring in to the chocolate mix, making sure that everything is fully coated with the chocolate
  6. If you want to add any additional ingredients, make sure they are also broken down into small pieces and stir in with the rest of the ingredients
  7. Once everything is well mixed, press into a greased baking tin and the pop into the fridge for at least 2 hours
  8. Cut into squares and enjoy!
