Makes 8-10 burgers
- 500g minced chicken
- 3tbsp golden syrup
- Dried sage
- Salt and pepper
- Rapeseed oil
- Put the minced chicken and golden syrup into a bowl and mix well
- Add salt, pepper and a herb of your choice to season. I used sage, but thyme, rosemary or oregano would all work well too
- Add a small amount of rapeseed oil to a frying pan and heat
- Roll the chicken into a small ball before flattening to form your burger
- Place carefully into the heated pan and cook for around 2-3 minutes on each side
- Check that the chicken is cooked through before serving. You could place in the oven at 180°C for around 5-8 minutes to be sure
- Serve hot and enjoy!
