Chicken Burgers

Makes 8-10 burgers

  • 500g minced chicken
  • 3tbsp golden syrup
  • Dried sage
  • Salt and pepper
  • Rapeseed oil
  1. Put the minced chicken and golden syrup into a bowl and mix well
  2. Add salt, pepper and a herb of your choice to season. I used sage, but thyme, rosemary or oregano would all work well too20150925_190217
  3. Add a small amount of rapeseed oil to a frying pan and heat
  4. Roll the chicken into a small ball before flattening to form your burger
  5. Place carefully into the heated pan and cook for around 2-3 minutes on each side20150925_190208
  6. Check that the chicken is cooked through before serving. You could place in the oven at 180°C for around 5-8 minutes to be sure
