makes 4 kebabs
- 150g diced chicken breast
- 2 pears, diced
- 1 carrot, peeled and diced
- 3tbsp golden syrup
- 2-3tsp rosemary
- 2-3tsp thyme
- salt and pepper
- Season the diced chicken with a little salt and pepper
- Thread a selection of the diced chicken and vegetables onto your kebab skewer. I used chicken and pear for M and added carrot for G, but you can use any vegetables that you want
- Be careful not to overfill your skewer as otherwise the pieces will fall off during cooking
- Make the marinade sauce by mixing together the golden syrup, herbs and seasoning and put to one side
- Heat a griddle pan over a medium flame*
- Place the kebabs onto the griddle pan and then brush your marinade generously over the meat
- As the kebabs cook, you will need to turn the skewers and baste the kebabs with the marinade until the chicken is tender and fully cooked
- Remove from the heat and serve
*these are perfect for cooking on a BBQ too, but make sure the chicken is fully cooked through before serving
