Lamb & mint burgers

(makes 8 medium burgers)

  • 500g lamb mince
  • 4tbsp maple syrup
  • 2tbsp olive oil
  • Handful fresh mint, finely chopped
  • Pinch of salt


  1. Take a handful of fresh mint leaves and finely chop
  2. Add the mint to the lamb mince, maple syrup, olive oil and salt in a bowl.SAM_1211
  3.  Mix the ingredients together, making sure that the mint is infused throughout the lamb.
  4. Cover the lamb mixture and put into the fridge for a minimum of 20mins to allow the meat to marinate.
  5. Form the lamb mixture into burgers and cook.  Can be cooked in the oven at 200 C for around 8mins or on the BBQ or hob for around 5mins.   SAM_1214
